# Getting Started with Vihaya Events

> Launch your first event in under two minutes.

## Step 1 — Sign up

Go to https://events.vihaya.app/signup and create an organizer account with email or Google. No credit card required.

## Step 2 — Create an event

From the dashboard, click "Create Event". Fill in:
- Title, date/time, venue
- Description (paste it — the AI form builder can suggest registration fields)
- Cover image / banner

## Step 3 — Configure ticket tiers

Add one or more tiers — early-bird, general admission, VIP, fan-pit, table booking, group bundles. Each tier has its own:
- Price (set ₹0 for free RSVP-only events)
- Capacity
- Sale start/end dates

## Step 4 — Customize the registration form (optional)

Use the AI form builder or drag-drop additional fields (T-shirt size, college, dietary preferences, custom consent checkboxes).

## Step 5 — Connect Razorpay (paid events only)

If you're charging for tickets, link your Razorpay account so ticket revenue settles directly to your bank in T+2 working days.

## Step 6 — Publish and share

Click publish — your branded event page is live. Share the short link on Instagram/WhatsApp/Twitter or embed on your website.

## Step 7 — Run the event

- Track sales in real-time on the dashboard
- Send WhatsApp reminders to registrants
- Use the Vihaya check-in app at the gate to scan QR codes

Free events: ₹0. Paid events: 1.9–4.9% platform fee + Razorpay ~2% + GST. No monthly subscription.
