We understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed for events registered through Vihaya.
Cancellation requests must be initiated by the user through their account dashboard or by contacting support.
If an event is cancelled by the organiser:
Vihaya Events is free for free events (no platform fee). For paid tickets, Vihaya charges a 1.9–4.9% platform fee (rate depends on ticket price tier). Razorpay also charges its standard payment gateway fee (~2% + GST) on paid transactions. Both Vihaya's platform fee and Razorpay's gateway fee are generally non-refundable on attendee-initiated cancellations. They are refunded only when the organiser cancels the event entirely.
To request a refund, please email vihaya.app@gmail.com with your booking ID and reason for cancellation.
